MAKES SENSE THEATRICS

In late 2016 I decided to launch my own production group with the goal to produce independent entertainment that treats early career talent with the same professionalism and respect as those under an union contracts. Since launching we have produced two productions of the Starkid Musical Comedy TWISTED, hosted a comedy cabaret, premiered the play Imagination Row, and presented three seasons and a Halloween special of the comedic-parody sketch show Bill & Ted's Excellent Talk Show.

The hope is in the post-pandemic world to produce a new concert series entitled "Stand & Sing," in which we will showcase non-union actors alongside union actors in performances of fan favorite musicals. It will also feature designers and directors all looking to develop their careers in New York City.

"As it recovers from this pandemic, New York will be desperate for energetic and resourceful individuals like Ellen Stewart, Joe Papp, and Lucille Lortel. Angelica is emerging as just such an impresario, full of passion and organizational wherewithal, and already well on her way to remaking New York theatre in her image."
